What's the wedding itinerary?
The big day is set for August 22nd at The Duck Blind at Olde 41, and we can't wait to see you there. Doors to the venue will open at 2:00 PM, and we recommend arriving at least thirty minutes early to ensure you have plenty of time to find the ceremony space and settle into a seat before we begin sharp at 3:00 PM. Following the "I dos," the family will be heading off for a few photos, but the venue and bar will remain open for you to relax and enjoy a few drinks while we wrap things up. The reception will officially kick off at 5:00 PM for an evening of food and dancing, with the celebration winding down around 10:30 PM.
Where's the wedding located?
Our venue's address is 1966 Velp Ave, Green Bay, WI.
You can use this link https://maps.app.goo.gl/kLXQVcKWSm3SyW5n7 to view the location in Google Maps. Once you arrive, head towards the building on the right and proceed to the back patio where the ceremony will take place.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our afternoon ceremony will be outdoors on the wrap-around porch overlooking Duck Creek, while cocktail hour and the reception will take place indoors. Guests will walk to their seats, and directly into the building on paved pathways.
Are plus-one's and children allowed?
We aren't allowing plus-ones at our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. Also, we love your children, but due to space restrictions, we can't accommodate additional guests. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.
What type of food will be served at your wedding?
We'll be serving a buffet style dinner with a choice of entrée. There'll be a meat, fish and gluten-free/vegan option available. We'll also have dessert and late-night pizza for those staying through the festivities.
Will there be an open bar?
No, we recommend bringing cash or a credit card along if you plan to purchase alcoholic beverages. Complimentary Water and Soda will be provided.
Are gifts allowed?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for, but yes, cash gifts and personalized gifts are welcomed. A card box will be present at the wedding for your convenience. Due to combining homes, we do not have a registry as we fell that we have everything we need.
Are pictures allowed during the wedding ceremony?
We kindly ask that you keep our wedding "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos during the ceremony. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special day.
Please respect our privacy and don't share photos of our wedding on social media, as we'd like to make a formal wedding announcement with our professional images.
